For the best results press on a black or dark color cotton or cotton blend fabrics. This helps the rhinestones POP with vibrance!
Pressing instructions & Tips
- Preheat your heat press to 325-330 Degrees Fahrenheit, and set your timer to 15 seconds
- Set the pressure to "medium". The bottom of the heat press should have a 1/4” silicone pad so that the pressure is distributed evenly over the entire transfer.
- The heat-safe transfer is on the clear sheet and the clear sheet is heat-safe, the white sheet is just the backing.
- Pre-press your garment
- CARFULLY peel away the clear sheet and place it on your garment. Cover the clear layer with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper. The Teflon sheet is not required but is just recommended to protect your heat press. NOTE: If your garment is sheer/thin, place a piece of parchment paper or Teflon sheet inside the garment so that the rhinestones do not stick through to the other layer. It may also help prevent the "impression" of the design from showing through to the other side of the garment.
- Press your shirt for 15 seconds, allow it to COMPLETELY cool so the adhesive will get the best bond, then peel away the clear sheet.
- after your first press, turn inside out and do a final press for 10 seconds, covering the inside-out shirt with Teflon or parchment paper. Allow to completely cool and enjoy your creation!
TIPS: Check the design to make sure that the rhinestones have not moved. Use tweezers to replace any that have moved out of place.
Place the sticky side of the clear layer down onto the fabric. If it is not in the desired position, you can slowly lift it slowly and place it again
Disclaimer: The above settings are recommended settings and should always be tested on your material first. In general, the higher the temperature, the shorter the pressing time needed. Do not attempt to apply our rhinestone transfers to garments that cannot withstand the recommended heat setting and press time, especially garments that say "Do Not Iron" or "Do Not Dry Clean".The responsibility for the application of our transfers lies with you, the customer. We will not be liable for any issues that may arise during and after the application process..
Washing Instructions
When our rhinestone transfers are applied correctly, your rhinestone garment can withstand normal wear and tear. However, we recommend that the garment always be turned inside out and machine washed on normal garment settings in cool water (do not use hot water).
It is not recommended to tumble dry, for the best results and longevity of your stones hang them to dry. If you do tumbler dry at your own will please turn inside out and dry on the low setting.
