recommended washing instructions: Hand wash. Do not put them in the dishwasher
for snowglobes we DO NOT make a premade hole in the bottom. The best tool is going to be a hotfix tool found on amazon to melt a hole in the bottom. 
To seal the hole I use UV resin and a UV light (there are different ways, you can find a lot of information on youtube for making these)
The mixture I use is 2.5oz of food-grade vegetable glycerin and 1/2 cup of water (there are many mixtures to create slow flow or fast flow and can also be found on youtube)
it is also recommended to allow time to degas (let sit and the trapped air will come to the top and you can fill with more of your liquid mixture)
